Homegrown — 600+ Vendor Signups in Six Weeks for a SaaS Marketplace
Overview
When we launched Homegrown, the vision was simple: help farmers market vendors sell year-round online. The challenge? Building traction in a niche market with limited digital adoption. I co-founded the company, led all go-to-market strategy, messaging, and product positioning, and ran the first acquisition campaigns. Through Facebook Ads and founder-led onboarding, we acquired 600+ vendors in six weeks at a $6.70 CAC.
Results
The first version of the product struggled with activation, so I led a full redesign — overhauling UX, onboarding, and pricing. Today, Homegrown is relaunching with a modern marketplace experience, guided by the same GTM discipline that drove its early traction.
